＊welcome to NAGOMI＊  私たちは、 東京藝術大学音楽学部邦楽科出身者を中心に、 平成17年に結成しました。 学校で学んできたことを生かし、 邦楽の伝統を尊重しながらも既成の概念だけに とらわれない幅広い演奏活動を目指しています。 地元・上野観光連盟の協力を得て上野恩賜公園野外ステージで演奏会を開催、 今年から会場を東京文化会館に移して行いました。 このホームページでは演奏会の記録と普段の活動の紹介、 次回公演のお知らせや、邦楽を広く親しんでいただきたいと思います。 興味を持っていただけた方は、 「和」主催公演の優待券をお送りしますので、是非会員登録をお願いします。 Welcome to‘Nagomi' ! Thankyou for visiting us! In‘Nagomi' we are a group of musicians specializing in Jaganese musical instruments and singing. On top of the 5 core members in ‘Nagomi', many guest players join our shows, and we cover a wide spectrum of inrtruments: Vocal, Shamisen, Hayashi(shinobue, kotsuzumi, okawa, taiko),and Koto. Plus, traditional Japanese Dance is always part of our shows. As for our background, most of us are graduates from the Traditional Japanese Music department in Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music (a.k.a. Geidai). Besides making the most of our learning experience from school and respecting the classical Japanese music traditions, we also aim to go beyond conventions, strive for new frontiers whenever possible: Along with classical and contemporary ensemble works on exclusively traditional Japanese musical instruments, we are keen on collaborating with other musicians and theatrical artists as well - Tabla player, Kokyu player, kids' choir, Bass, Noh actors...to name a few collaborators so far. Since 2005, we have been active in a variety of performances, including outdoor concerts at Open-Air-Stage/Ueno Onshi park with generous assistance from Ueno Tourism Federation. And from this year (2009) on,‘Nagomi' concert has moved to Tokyo Bunka Hall, also in our local area, Ueno. We are very happy you are interested in‘Nagomi', and hope you will get a taste of our music in the near future!
